We have three children.
One is a crystal child, one is an indigo, and one is a rainbow child. They are SO different! And each one has strong aspects of their new age energy.
We are traveling at the moment, and my indigo child is testing us at every opportunity (as Indigo’s do). Rather than using punishment and discipline, we are trying to remember that the indigo energy is here to show us how things need to change. Indigo’s hate rules, call things as they see it, and are incredibly rebellious! But without them, we wouldn’t have the change makers and the fresh new ideas that the world needs!
Parenting an indigo child can be challenging! They are strong, but they are also very sensitive!
Archangel Metatron spoke to me recently about the energy of indigo children, and told me that they act as an energetic filter for all those around them. They literally absorb and filter energy from everyone they come into contact with. Imagine how draining that must be for them!! Indigo children need to spend lots of time outdoors in nature, to help them maintain their own energy and detox what they absorb. In fact, Archangel Metatron told me that most indigo kids would do well to leave near the ocean or open parkland, so that they can access it on a daily basis.
Diet is also incredibly important for indigo kids, they are far more likely to be reactive and sensitive to chemicals in food. We actively avoid food colouring, preservatives and MSG. Our other two kids can tolerate these in small amounts, not our indigo, the impact is significant and instant, and affects behaviour, emotions, and sleep (not fun!). Indigo’s are often a catalyst for change within your own family dynamic too, showing you the healing you need to experience within yourself and your family dynamic. .
Indigo kids have a big energetic job to do. They need our love, encouragement and support. .
Work with your indigo child. Get to know what they need, help them with their big feelings and passionate opinions. Give them an outlet to express their strong ideas, and you might just be helping to shape the future of the next generation.
